The Steps to Getting a Puppy
Step #1 - Puppy Application
The best first step is to fill out the puppy application. This helps us better understand you and your needs. Don’t worry, we won’t ghost you, our puppy application is more of a conversation starter.
Step #2 - Discussion
We’ll discuss any of your questions, availability, timing, and any other considerations you have. Our goal here is to see if our dogs will be a good fit for your family.
Step #3 - Agreement & Deposit
If, after discussion, everything seems like a good fit for you, we can move forward with the puppy purchase agreement and the deposit. We’ll send you the agreement that you can digitally sign, keeping things simple. Deposits are generally through Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, or similar.
Step #4 - Litter Announcement
If the puppies weren’t born at the time of deposit, then we will notify you once every is settled at the house after the puppies are born.
Step #5 - Puppy Selection
When the puppies are 4-6 weeks old, we will begin temperament and personality testing to better understand the puppies and what kind of home they’ll thrive in. We use the results of these to align you with the perfect puppy for your family. Don’t worry, we’ll help you select which puppy, but the final choice is yours.
Step #6 - Puppy Pick Up
Most people come to us to pick up their puppy, but if necessary, we can make arrangements for transportation. We just need to be cognizant of timing with the rapidly growing size of these pups.

How Much Does a Puppy Cost?
Our puppies are $2500 for Merle & Harlequin, and $2000 for the others. We request a $750 deposit to lock in your spot on the selection waitlist, then $1750 or $1250 respectively. If you want to upgrade to first pick, you can bypass the waitlist and this is only way to get to breeding rights. If puppy selection has already occurred, then you cannot select a puppy that has already been selected, selection usually occurs between weeks 4 and 6. If you are interested in breeding rights after selections have occurred, please contact me, Bill.
How Does Your Selection Waitlist Work?
We organize our waitlist based on a first-come-first-serve basis, based on when the agreement is signed and deposit received, whichever comes last. We separate our selection waitlist based on sex, so whether you want a male or female, or if you are open to either. We also can designate you on a certain litter if you prefer. If not sure what to do, we encourage you to start with the puppy application and we can help you figure things out. Or, if you have a quick question, please feel free to text me.

What’s Included?
Every breeder does things a little different.
This is what we include with our dogs:
AKC Registration
Our dogs all come with limited AKC Registration (no breeding rights), we pay for the registration, but you get to select the name! Full AKC breeding rights are available for an additional price, but it comes with first pick in the litter.
Lifetime Support
I’m always here to help you. You can always contact me and I’ll be on your team to find a solution. I don’t expect perfection, I know these dogs can be a little…quirky. My goal is to help you find a flow with your puppy that works with your life, so it’s positive for all!
Simple Agreement
We use a simple agreement. Our goal with our contract is to help you understand what you can expect from us and what we hope you’ll follow through on with your pupppy. When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll ask you to review and sign before placing a deposit.
Puppy-Prep Email Series
We’ve written a series of emails, with links, to help you get started with you puppy, everything from figuring out dog food, where to get it, and what to feed, to deworming, to housetraining, and much more!
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are complete as are age-appropriate for the puppy. We have careful vaccination protocol that we developed with our vet. We even have a handout to help you understand the window of susceptibility and when your puppy is safe with vaccines.
Microchip
We microchip all of our puppies with an internationally recognized microchip. This is prepaid and good for life, no subscriptions for you! We will put the microchip in your name when you pick up the puppy, so you are covered from the start!
Deworming
After trying both chemical and natural deworming products, we’ve opted to use natural dewormer. We have found it more effective as a dewormer, but also doesn’t have any of the negative side effects often seen from chemical dewormers.
A Toy that Smells Like Home
We’ve found the transition is easier when they have something that smells like home. We provide a toy or blanket that smells like mom. This should make crate time easier and allow you more sleep!
